In the centre of Tanzania takes its name from the Hehe word for ‘river.’ The eponymous Great Ruaha River serves as a lifeline for the park’s wildlife. Although it’s the largest national park in the country and rich in wildlife, Ruaha is one of the least busy places to visit in Tanzania, so safaris here feel remote and exclusive.
Tanzania is the best among the African Countries for Wildlife viewing. The country has 23 national parks & so many game reserve, all these comprise an area of more than 99,306.5 km2.

Is the most vital initiation of all rite of passages in the Maasai society. A delegation of boys between 14 and 16 years of age, has to go on a journey within their lands announcing their next age set, this journey is taken with the company of a group of elders who guide them.
A few days before the circumcision each boy has to undergo another trial: he has to gather the cattle for seven days in a row, if he manages to carry out this duty correctly, his circumcision will take place on the eighth day.
Before the ceremony, boys have to sleep outside the village in the savannah; the following day, when coming back, they have to wear wide robes and dance all day long.
At the end of this last ceremony, the boys are finally ready for the most important initiation -The Emuratta or circumcision.
